The Touchies Foundation

The Touchies Foundation was founded from our passion for touch rugby and promoting the game. The Touchies Foundation has tao mandates.

  1. The Touchies Foundation will raise awareness for touch rugby through development clinics held around the country. These clinics will provide valuable coaching for future South African Touch Boks and will also facilitate in the development and empowerment of new coaches. We will couple this with the incredible benefits of the uplifting people through the positive impacts of sport.
  2. The Touchies Foundation will also seek to uplift communities through these clinics with powerful partnerships. We will look to changes lives on and off the touch field. This will include us empowering people to create a sustainable future for the communities.

Sponsorship Opportunities

We have many needs that we would like to fulfil when running our clinics. With our NPO status application underway, not only will you be able to change lives but you’ll also be able to benefit from you contributions. At this stage we are looking to partner with people for financial / service / item contribution for the following:

  • Touch Rugby Balls (we would like every child to go home with one)
  • Shirts (every child feels a sense of honour when they own clothes and each child will go home with one)
  • Hoodies / blankets (we would like to run campaigns in winter to support these children in the cold months)
  • Food (each clinic will have food provided for to ensure these kids lives are really changed. This includes a bag of groceries to take home)
